Dientes de Navarino Hike
At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Williams and drive to the starting point of the Dientes de Navarino hiking circuit.
After an introductory talk, we will begin our hike through the southernmost forests in the world. You will learn about the trees, bushes, and grasses in this remote Andean-Patagonian forest.
As we continue hiking, we will discover more about the local flora and look for endemic birds while heading up a hill in Navarino Island's interior. At the summit, you'll enjoy views of Puerto Williams and the Beagle Channel.
A photo will be taken next to the large Chilean flag situated at the hilltop before we proceed along the Dientes de Navarino route to the south. This segment leads to the top of the Ukika-Róbalo ridge, situated at an altitude of 2,985 feet (910 metres).
After taking in the views from the ridge, we will descend to a tranquil area for a picnic lunch featuring local products and a beer. We will then return to the trailhead and drive back to Puerto Williams, arriving at your hotel by 4 pm.
