Tour Details
Having met up at 3:30 pm, we'll set off from O'Higgins, 187 on our walking tour of Puerto Williams.
During our tour, we'll visit the main points in this city on Navarino Island. This Chilean island is located in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. We'll stop at various spots to admire the Beagle Channel, which serves as a natural border with Argentina.
Our tour will finish at the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or Micalvi Yacht Club. We will then travel further inland to explore more of the island.
We'll see remains of the Beagle conflict, a dispute between Chile and Argentina for these territories. Additionally, we'll learn about the Yaghan community, one of the world's southernmost Indigenous groups.
Next, we'll head to Los Bronces Bridge and walk to the waterfall of the same name. After appreciating the scenery, we'll return to the bridge and travel back to the meeting point in Puerto Williams. Our tour will end at 7:30 pm with an aperitif with local products and a craft beer.
