Tour Details
Our adventure begins at 3:30 pm, gathering at O'Higgins, 187 for a walking exploration of Puerto Williams.
Throughout the excursion, we will visit significant landmarks of this city located on Navarino Island, a stunning Chilean locale nestled within the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. Along the way, we will pause at several points to take in views of the Beagle Channel, a narrow passage that acts as a natural border with Argentina, linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Our walk will conclude either at the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or near the Micalvi Yacht Club. Afterwards, we'll continue our journey further inland to explore additional regions of the island.
During this segment, we'll observe remnants of the Beagle conflict, a historic dispute over these Fuegian territories between Chile and Argentina. Additionally, we'll gain insights into the Yaghan community, recognized as one of the world’s southernmost Indigenous groups.
The next stop takes us to Los Bronces Bridge, from which we will make our way to the stunning waterfall of the same name. After savoring the picturesque views, we’ll return to the bridge and head back to our starting point in Puerto Williams. Our tour will conclude at 7:30 pm with an aperitif featuring local delicacies and a refreshing craft beer.
