Cabo Frio Schooner Ride

We'll meet at 9:30 am at the port of Cabo Frio and set off on a catamaran trip along the coast. The trip will begin by sailing through the Itajuru Channel, which connects the Araruama Lagoon with the Atlantic Ocean. During this time, you will see the Moringa Condominium.

Next, we will skirt the coast of the islet of Japonés and proceed to the island of Papagayos, where you will have 30 minutes of free time to swim. After swimming, we will continue sailing past Praia Brava and the fort of San Mateo.

The following stop will be at the Fort's beach, with another 30 minutes of free time for swimming. After this, we will traverse the inlet of Navío Carolina, named after a shipwreck that occurred here in 1913.

We will then skirt the promontory of the Cabo Frio lighthouse before returning to the starting pier. Arrival is scheduled for two and a half hours after setting sail.
