La Paz, Cancer Tropic & Todos Santos Day Trip

At 7 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Los Cabos to start our day trip to some of Baja California Sur's unique spots.

Our first stop will be the Tropic of Cancer, marking the summer solstice. You may want to take pictures at this key astronomical landmark.

We'll continue and pass by a 154-foot (47 meter) chimney called La Ramona, a work by Gustave Eiffel. Once we arrive in La Paz, we'll tour its historic center, seeing monuments like the Cathedral, Government House, and the 3-mile (5 kilometer) promenade with statues of notable figures like Jacques Cousteau. After the tour, you will have 1 hour of free time to explore the town.

At 2:30 pm, we will head to Pichilingue Beach for lunch featuring fish, garlic shrimp, and other delicacies. Once we have rested, we'll travel to Todos Santos, declared a Pueblo Mágico in 2006. You will see colonial buildings of the Santa Rosa mission and a cinema established in 1944, showcasing Mexico's Golden Age of Cinema.

Finally, we'll pass by the Hotel California, rumored to inspire the band The Eagles for their 1977 album. Our day trip will conclude at your hotel in Los Cabos by 7:30 pm.
