Cádiz Cathedral & Tavira Tower Guided Tour

Tour Details

We'll meet in the Plaza de San Juan de Dios to begin the tour. After a stroll through the Old Town and passing under the Arco de la Rosa, you will arrive at the Cádiz Cathedral, known locally as the "New Cathedral," built over 116 years to accommodate a growing population. It showcases a blend of architectural styles from Baroque to Neoclassical.

Next, we'll visit the Torre Tavira, the tallest tower in Cádiz's old town. After enjoying its baroque architecture, we'll ascend one of its 129 lookout towers for a panoramic view of the city and the bay. The tower features a Cámara Oscura, allowing you to see a live projection of the surroundings through a periscope.

Cathedral Museum

The tour includes admission to the Cathedral Museum, but we won't visit during the tour. You are free to explore the museum at your own pace afterward.
