Jerez de la Frontera Day Trip

We will depart from Cádiz at the indicated time and travel north to Jerez de la Frontera. Upon arrival, approximately half an hour later, we will begin a tour of the modern area of the city, followed by a visit to the historic centre to see some of its most iconic monuments, including its characteristic orange trees and fountains.

We will visit the Plaza del Arenal, a lively square, and admire the architecture of the Alcazar of Jerez, a fortress built by the Almohad rulers. Next, we will head to the Plaza Encarnación to observe the Cathedral's mix of Gothic, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles.

At midday, we will visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art to see "How the Andalusian Horses Dance," an internationally known show that features equestrian ballet, Spanish music, and traditional 18th-century costumes.

After the equestrian show, you will have some free time in the centre of Jerez to get lunch. The tour will conclude after approximately 7 to 7.5 hours back at the starting point.
