Explore the Historic Streets of Cádiz

On the scheduled day, gather at the designated meeting point in the Plaza de España, where the iconic Monument to the Constitution of 1812 stands as a hallmark of the city’s heritage. Here, we'll embark on this guided exploration of Cádiz. Are you prepared? Let’s begin!

This plaza provides an excellent starting point to immerse yourself in its historical ambiance. Our next stop is the Plaza de Mina, a delightful square embraced by trees and historic architecture, notably the Museo de Cádiz, which showcases a rich array of art and archaeological treasures.

From Plaza de Mina, we will make our way to Plaza de San Antonio, among the largest and most elegant squares in the city. You’ll gaze upon the church of San Antonio and soak in the atmosphere filled with history and culture, before proceeding to Parque Genovés, a stunning botanical garden offering a serene environment amidst diverse plant life.

A short stroll from Parque Genovés leads you to La Caleta beach, the only urban beach in Cádiz. This scenic spot is perfect for a leisurely walk while enjoying views of the sea. Subsequently, you'll visit the central market to taste fresh local ingredients; a great opportunity to relax and savor some traditional tapas, before making your way to the impressive Cadiz Cathedral.

This grand cathedral, recognized for its striking golden dome, welcomes visitors to explore its interior and climb the tower for breathtaking panoramic vistas of the city. Adjacent to the cathedral lies El Pópulo, the oldest quarter in Cádiz, renowned for its distinctive charm, inviting wanderers to get lost in its narrow passages.

After approximately two hours of discovery, the tour concludes at the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, the city's administrative and commercial hub, home to the Cadiz City Hall.
