Day Pass: Caen Mémorial Museum Ticket + Normandy Landing Tour

With the Day Pass, you have a ticket to the Caen Mémorial Museum and a D-Day tour included to explore the scenes from the Normandy landings.

What Does the Day Pass Include?

The Day Pass includes a D-Day tour and admission to the Caen Mémorial Museum. Details are as follows:

The D-Day tour

This tour takes place on the selected day of your reservation. Participants meet at the entrance to the Caen Mémorial Museum, where the journey by minibus to key locations of the Normandy Landings begins. This event occurred on the 6th of June 1944.

The tour starts at Pointe du Hoc, followed by a visit to Omaha Beach, where remains from that day can still be seen. The final stop is Colleville-sur-Mer for the Normandy American Cemetery, concluding back at the museum after approximately 5 hours.

Ticket to Caen Mémorial

The Day Pass also includes admission to the Caen Mémorial, which can be explored independently. The museum focuses on the Second World War, the Normandy Landings, and the Cold War. Your ticket grants access to both temporary exhibitions and the permanent collection, featuring weaponry, uniforms, vehicles, maps, propaganda posters, and other artifacts.

You may visit the museum on the same day as the D-Day tour, before starting the tour, or the following day.

Opening hours are as follows:

1st April - 30th September 2024: Monday-Sunday, 9 am - 7 pm1-31st October 2024: Monday-Sunday, 9 am - 6 pm1st November - 31st December 2024: Open every day except Monday, with exceptions on 11th November, 23rd December and 30th December, 9 am - 6 pm.
