Barumini and Giara di Gesturi Trip
At 9am, we'll meet in Yenne Piazza in Cagliari. The journey takes just over 1 hour to reach Giara di Gesturi, a plateau in the center of the island. We'll observe the wild horses, a symbol of Sardinia, in this Mediterranean landscape.
Following this, there will be some free time for lunch. After lunch, we'll proceed to Barumini, Sardinia's most significant archaeological site. The village, built in 1400 BC, features a labyrinthine structure that intrigues visitors.
Our next destination is the Casa Zapata Museum, a late 16th-century building showcasing a collection of archaeological remains from the Nuragic era.
We will return to Cagliari, arriving back at the starting point by 4 pm.
