Barumini and Giara di Gesturi Trip
At 9am, we'll meet in Yenne Piazza in Cagliari. The journey to Giara di Gesturi, a plateau in the center of the island, takes just over 1 hour. Here, you can see the wild horses, a symbol of Sardinia, amidst the Mediterranean landscape.
After some free time for lunch, we will head to Barumini, Sardinia's most significant archaeological site, known for its maze-like structure. This village, dating back to 1400 BC, showcases the history of the Nuragic civilization.
The tour includes a visit to the Casa Zapata Museum, a late 16th-century building with a notable collection of archaeological artifacts from the Nuragic era.
We will return to Cagliari and arrive back at the starting point by 4 pm.
