At your chosen time, we'll meet in Piazza Yenne to begin our guided tour of the historic city center, also known as the Castello district.

This quarter, founded in the 13th century, is surrounded by medieval city walls and includes the Bastion of Santa Caterina and the Tower of the Elephant. Look closely to spot the animal that inspired the tower’s name.

We'll stroll through the cobbled streets of Cagliari to explore the city's past. Our tour will lead us to Piazza Carlo Alberto, home to the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the capital’s most significant temple, built in the 13th century with Romanesque architectural style, though its main facade dates to the early 20th century.

After this 2-hour tour, we will visit a viewpoint in the city center to enjoy panoramas of the surrounding area and coastline. As Castello is the highest district in Cagliari, the views from here are notable.
