Cagliari Sella del Diavolo Hike
We'll meet in Piazza Yenne at the selected time and set off on a bus ride to the Sella del Diavolo. Upon arrival at the foot of this rocky headland, we’ll start the hike.
Sella del Diavolo, meaning the Devil's Saddle, is named from a legend where angels, led by the archangel Michael, defeated the devil, who left behind his saddle.
This two-hour hike will take us across the promontory, where we will encounter historical ruins including a temple associated with Astarte, the Sant'Elia Tower, and a fort from the Second World War.
Reaching the top, a view of the Golfo degli Angeli will reward our efforts. After enjoying the scenery, we will return to the starting point in Cagliari.
