Cagliari Sella del Diavolo Hike
We'll meet in Piazza Yenne square in Cagliari at the selected time and set off on a bus ride to the Sella del Diavolo. When we reach the foot of this rocky headland, we'll begin the hike.
The name Sella del Diavolo, meaning the Devil's Saddle, is derived from a legend about a battle between angels and the devil, led by the archangel Michael.
We'll embark on a two-hour hike across this promontory to discover its natural beauty. During the hike, we will find ruins of historical constructions, including a temple thought to belong to Astarte, the Sant'Elia Tower, and a Second World War fort.
Upon reaching the top, a view of the Golfo degli Angeli will make the ascent worthwhile. After appreciating the scenery, we'll return to the starting point in Cagliari.
