Activity Details

We’ll begin our journey at Largo Carlo Felice in Cagliari, gathering at the designated time before heading towards the nearby town of Pula. This picturesque resort boasts one of the key archaeological sites in the region: the historic city of Nora.

After approximately 45 minutes of travel, we’ll arrive and delve straight into the site, where you’ll explore the incredible legacy of the Phoenicians and Romans. Discover how Nora flourished as a significant commercial hub during the Phoenician era. Highlights of the site include the ancient Roman baths, the amphitheater, and the exquisite mosaic facades of various buildings.

Following our exploration of Nora, our return journey to Cagliari will feature a stop to appreciate the diverse wildlife of the Santa Gilla lagoon. If fortune smiles upon us, we might catch a glimpse of some stunning flamingos!

Upon our arrival back in Cagliari, a short panoramic bus tour will commence. We will make stops at the Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria and the Mount Urpinu viewpoint, where you can take in and photograph the breathtaking surroundings.

After a total of four hours, our archaeological adventure will conclude.
