Nora Archeological Site Trip
Commencing at Piazza Yenne in Cagliari at the scheduled time, we will travel to Pula, home to one of the principal archaeological sites on the island: the ancient city of Nora. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes, and upon arrival, we will explore the site, learning about its significance as a great commercial center during the Phoenician period. Highlights include the ancient Roman baths, amphitheater, and mosaic facades.
After our exploration of Nora, we will return to Cagliari, stopping to observe the biodiversity of the Santa Gilla lagoon, where flamingos may be spotted.
Upon returning to Cagliari, a brief panoramic bus tour will take place, including stops at the Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria and the Mount Urpinu viewpoint for scenic photography.
The total duration of the tour is four hours.
