Nora Archeological Site Trip
Meet at Piazza Yenne in Cagliari at the scheduled time, then depart for the neighboring city of Pula. This tourist resort features one of the principal archaeological sites on the island: the ancient city of Nora.
After approximately 45 minutes of travel, arrive at the site to explore the legacy of the Phoenicians and Romans. Learn about its significance as a commercial center during the Phoenician period and see the ancient Roman baths, amphitheater, and mosaic facades.
After visiting Nora, return to Cagliari, with a stop at the Santa Gilla lagoon to observe its biodiversity, potentially spotting some flamingos.
Upon returning to Cagliari, enjoy a brief panoramic bus tour. Stops will include the Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria and the Mount Urpinu viewpoint for photography opportunities.
