Night Ticket

As the sun sets over the Great Barrier Reef, the nighttime world awakens. With a night entrance ticket, you can witness the corals illuminate and predatory fish begin their nocturnal hunts. This is also when reptiles, amphibians, and insects are most active.

If you want to make the most of your evening visit to the Cairns Aquarium, with this option you can complete the evening with a tasty two-course dinner. After enjoying the guided tour, you will go to Dundee's restaurant at the aquarium and sit down to enjoy the meal.

Opening Hours

The Cairns Aquarium is open daily from 9 am to 3 pm. Please note that the last admission is one hour before closing time.

If you have selected the afternoon or evening ticket option, you will get exclusive access outside the official opening hours.

How Does It Work?

When booking your ticket, you will choose from three options: Evening Ticket, Night Ticket, or Night Ticket + Dinner.

Each ticket grants you access to different experiences.
