Tour Options

When making your reservation, you can choose between two tour options. Below are descriptions of each option:

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Early in the morning, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cairns. Then, we will take you to a clearing for the ride, which lasts approximately one hour.

Upon arrival, we will witness the balloons being inflated and then climb into the basket to begin the ride. Take off!

We will soar into the sky while watching the sun rise, allowing for breathtaking panoramic views of the Atherton Plateau and its mountains surrounded by jungle. After around 40 minutes of flying, we will descend and return you to your hotel.

Hot Air Balloon, Funicular, and Panoramic Train Ride

With this package option, after the balloon ride, we will head to the Skyrail station. From there, we will board a funicular to enjoy panoramic views of Cairns and the Kuranda Ranges.

Next, we will board a second funicular to the Red Peak stop. We’ll take a stroll along the boardwalk in the rainforest, then continue to the Barron Falls station to explore the interpretation center.

Following this, we’ll reach Kuranda and its local markets, with time to explore the town and visit attractions like the Butterfly Sanctuary or Kuranda River.

Finally, we’ll board a panoramic train for a 1.5-hour journey along the mining rail line, passing over bridges and waterfalls. The experience ends at Cairns Central Station, approximately 12 hours later.
