Daintree National Park Tour

Delve into the rainforest landscapes of Daintree National Park, gaze at views of a World Heritage Rainforest & enjoy a local ice-cream.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time for an exciting day trip around Daintree National Park.

We will drive through Mareeba, Mount Molloy, and Julatten to reach our Daintree River Cruise spot. Upon arrival, enjoy tea and biscuits before a 1-hour guided river cruise through the Daintree National Park. Look out for Estuarine crocodiles, mangrove forests, and wildlife endemic to this area.

At midday, lunch will be provided before we continue to Mossman Gorge. Here, we’ll have a 1.5-hour guided walk around the rainforest (easy hike) with an option to take a dip in the gorge, depending on river conditions. We'll also visit the Mossman River Lookout and Suspension Bridge for area views.

After this, we'll embark on a 1-hour 20-minute drive to enjoy 2 scoops of ice cream or sorbet.

Finally, after about 10.5 hours, we'll arrive in Smithfield (bottom of Macalister Range) and begin accommodation drop-offs in Northern Beaches and Cairns City.

This tour includes pickup from Cairns, Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas. The pickup schedule is:

Cairns City (CBD): Pick up from 6:40 am to 7:15 am, drop off between 6:30 pm and 7 pm.Northern Beaches: Pick up from 7:20 am to 7:45 am, drop off at 6 pm.Port Douglas: Pick up at 8:20 am, drop off from 4 pm to 4:30 pm.
