Delve into the rainforest landscapes of Daintree National Park, gaze at views of a World Heritage Rainforest & enjoy a local ice-cream.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time for a day trip around Daintree National Park. We will drive through Mareeba, Mount Molloy, and Julatten before reaching the Daintree River Cruise spot. Here, tea and biscuits will be provided. A 1-hour guided river cruise through Daintree National Park will follow. Look for Estuarine crocodiles, mangrove forests, and other local wildlife.

At midday, lunch will be served before heading to Mossman Gorge. We will spend 1.5 hours on a guided walk through the rainforest (easy hike) and may have the option to swim in the gorge depending on river conditions. We will also stop at the Mossman River Lookout and Suspension Bridge for views of the area.

Next, we will travel for 1 hour and 20 minutes to enjoy 2 scoops of ice cream or sorbet. After approximately 10.5 hours, we will arrive in Smithfield and commence accommodation drop-offs in Northern Beaches and Cairns City.
