Daintree National Park Tour

Delve into the rainforest landscapes of Daintree National Park, gaze at views of a World Heritage Rainforest & enjoy a local ice-cream.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the time indicated to embark on an exciting day trip around Daintree National Park.

From here, we'll drive through Mareeba, Mount Molloy and Julatten before arriving at our Daintree River Cruise spot. Upon arrival, we'll have tea and biscuits. Then, we'll have a 1-hour guided river cruise through the Daintree National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for Estuarine crocodiles, mangrove forests and even more wildlife endemic to this area!

At midday, we'll have lunch before continuing to Mossman Gorge. Here, we'll spend 1.5 hours on a guided walk around the rainforest (easy hike) as well as the chance to take a refreshing dip in the gorge, depending on the river conditions. We'll also visit the Mossman River Lookout and Suspension Bridge to get incredible views of the area.

Then, we'll leave behind this beautiful area and embark on a 1-hour 20-minute drive so we can each enjoy 2 scoops of ice cream or sorbet. Yummy!

Finally, after about 10.5 hours, we'll arrive in Smithfield (bottom of Macalister Range) and commence accommodation drop-offs to Northern Beaches and Cairns City.

How does it work?

This tour includes pickup from Cairns, Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas. The pickup schedule is as follows:

Cairns City (CBD): Pick up from 6:40 am to 7:15 am, drop off between 6:30 pm and 7 pm.Northern Beaches: Pick up from 7:20 am to 7:45 am, drop off at 6 pm.Port Douglas: Pick up at 8:20 am, drop off from 4 pm to 4:30 pm.
