Daintree National Park Tour

Delve into the rainforest landscapes of Daintree National Park, gaze at views of a World Heritage Rainforest & enjoy a local ice-cream.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time to embark on a day trip around Daintree National Park.

We'll drive through Mareeba, Mount Molloy, and Julatten before arriving at our Daintree River Cruise spot. After tea and biscuits, we'll have a 1-hour guided river cruise through Daintree National Park. Look for Estuarine crocodiles, mangrove forests and wildlife endemic to this area.

At midday, we'll have lunch before continuing to Mossman Gorge. Here, we'll spend 1.5 hours on a guided walk around the rainforest (easy hike) and possibly take a dip in the gorge, depending on river conditions. We'll also visit the Mossman River Lookout and Suspension Bridge for views of the area.

Next, we will drive for 1 hour and 20 minutes to enjoy 2 scoops of ice cream or sorbet.

Finally, after about 10.5 hours, we'll arrive in Smithfield and commence accommodation drop-offs to Northern Beaches and Cairns City.

Hotel pickup

This tour includes pickup from Cairns, Northern Beaches, and Port Douglas with the following schedule:

Cairns City (CBD): Pick up from 6:40 am to 7:15 am, drop off between 6:30 pm and 7 pm.Northern Beaches: Pick up from 7:20 am to 7:45 am, drop off at 6 pm.Port Douglas: Pick up at 8:20 am, drop off from 4 pm to 4:30 pm.
