Delve into the rainforest landscapes of Daintree National Park, gaze at views of a World Heritage Rainforest & enjoy a local ice-cream.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time for a day trip around Daintree National Park.

Starting from your hotel, we'll drive through Mareeba, Mount Molloy and Julatten, arriving at our Daintree River Cruise spot. Upon arrival, tea and biscuits will be served. Next, enjoy a 1-hour guided river cruise through Daintree National Park, looking for Estuarine crocodiles and local wildlife.

At midday, lunch will be provided before we head to Mossman Gorge. Here, we'll have a 1.5-hour guided walk through the rainforest (easy hike) with an opportunity to swim in the gorge, depending on river conditions. We will also visit the Mossman River Lookout and Suspension Bridge for great views.

We will then embark on a 1-hour 20-minute drive to enjoy 2 scoops of ice cream or sorbet. After approximately 10.5 hours, we will return to Smithfield (bottom of Macalister Range) and drop off participants at Northern Beaches and Cairns City.
