Prepare to unveil one of Queensland's hidden gems. Our meeting point is set for 10:45 AM at the Reef Fleet Terminal, where we'll embark on a ferry journey heading southeast toward Fitzroy Island, located just a short distance from Cairns.

Upon arrival, you'll have a generous 2 hours to navigate the island on your own. Stroll along its pristine sandy beaches, take a revitalizing dip in the Tasman Sea, and explore the lush tropical rainforest—the itinerary is entirely yours!

At 2 PM, it’s time to head back to the Fitzroy ferry terminal, where we will reboard the vessel to return to Cairns.

Full Day Excursion

If a mere two hours feels too brief for your island experience, consider opting for the full-day excursion. Arrive at the Reef Fleet Terminal by 8:30 AM.

After enjoying a 45-minute boat ride, we’ll reach Fitzroy Island, where a delightful 45-minute glass-bottom boat trip awaits. Get ready to observe some of the finest coral reefs, as well as sea turtles and vibrant fish!

Following this adventure, you’ll enjoy approximately 5 hours of free time to explore the most enchanting spots on the island. This is an excellent moment to rent a kayak or simply luxuriate in the sunshine.

At 4 PM, please return to the ferry terminal to catch your boat back to Cairns.
