Introduction to Diving in the Great Barrier Reef
Your journey begins between 7:15 and 7:45 am at Spence Street in Cairns, where you'll board a vessel that will take you to a platform situated within the Great Barrier Reef. Prepare to dive into an incredible experience!
Upon arrival, you will have two and a half hours to snorkel at your own pace, soaking in the beauty of the Australian Great Barrier Reef. After this initial exploration of one of the planet's most breathtaking underwater landscapes, we will gather for a delightful lunch served on the boat.
At 1 pm, we will navigate to the second dive site, where the diving session will commence. Our guide will provide essential instructions, sharing fundamental techniques to enhance your diving adventure.
During this dive, you will immerse yourself in the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef, with opportunities to see clownfish, turtles, and reef sharks, alongside the iconic corals that characterize this location. It promises to be a memorable experience!
Finally, we will head back to the boat and set sail towards our original departure point, concluding our day with a cheer over a glass of wine. The excursion wraps up between 4:15 and 4:30 pm.
