We will meet at El-Tahrir Plaza, in front of La Poire Café, to begin our culinary adventure. After a brief introduction to traditional Egyptian cuisine, we will explore downtown Cairo, starting with a refreshing juice beverage near the iconic Champollion Palace, built in the 14th century.

Our next stop is a street cart featuring Koshari, a dish made of rice, lentils, macaroni, garbanzos, and tomato sauce. Then, we will visit another street cart to try a selection of sandwiches with three enticing options available.

Next, we will visit a fresh street food venue to experience a familiar recipe, transformed by local preparation methods. This culinary revelation promises a unique encounter.

We will also taste traditional falafel, known locally as ta'meya, and learn about its preparation. The tour concludes with a classic Egyptian dessert called feteer meshaltet, made from puff pastry.

After two hours of culinary exploration, our tour ends on 26th of July Street, in front of the Gad restaurant, where you can continue enjoying Egyptian cuisine at your leisure.
