Having picked you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, we'll make our way to the historic centre of one of the largest cities in Africa.

Our first stop will be the Cairo Citadel, which is the best-known non-ancient monument in the city. Inside we'll visit the Mohamed Ali mosque, known as the alabaster mosque for its white stone.

Next, we will go to the Khan el-Khalili market, the most famous in Cairo, known for its labyrinthine streets. This market is a good place for souvenirs and reproductions of artifacts from ancient Egypt.

We'll stop to eat after visiting the market, with a menu including salads, a main course with rice and vegetables, and a fruit salad for dessert.

In the afternoon, we will spend about an hour and a half at the Egyptian Museum, the most significant museum in the country. Here, you can find the treasures of Tutankhamun, including more than 200 pieces like the golden funerary mask.

We'll pass through Coptic Cairo, visiting Al-Muallaqa (the hanging church) and the church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus, known as the cave church.

This experience will conclude back at your hotel after around 8 hours, having explored the most important places of interest in Cairo.
