Day Trip to Petra by Plane

Travel to Jordan by plane, and discover the remains of Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabataeans, along with the mysteries of this architectural jewel.

Tour Details

After pickup at your hotel in Cairo, we will travel to the international airport to take a plane to Amman in a comfortable air-conditioned bus.

Upon arrival at the Jordanian terminal, we will take a bus to the Petra archaeological site. An English-speaking guide will lead the tour of this significant monument, including a visit to Al-Khazneh or 'The Treasury', a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The tour will also include the tombs of Petra, one of the most valuable historical sites in the Middle East. This site gained fame as the resting place of the Holy Grail in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and also appears in 'Transformers'.

After the tour, we will enjoy lunch in Petra before returning to Amman for the flight back to Cairo, and then transfer to your hotel by bus.

Extra Day in Aman

You can enhance your experience by adding another day in Aman. Following lunch in Petra, we will take you to a central hotel in Amman for an overnight stay. The next day, you will have breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a guided tour of the center of Aman, highlighting major monuments such as the Roman theatre, the Citadel, and more.

After the tour of Aman, we will proceed to the Jordanian airport for the flight to Cairo, followed by transport to your hotel in the Egyptian capital.

Important Information

To travel to Jordan, you must have a valid passport. At the Jordan airport, observe that you need to pay arrival and departure fees, totaling approximately 60 US dollars.
