Travel to Jordan by plane and explore the remains of Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabataeans.
Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Cairo and proceed to the international airport to take a plane to Amman. Upon arrival, we will transfer by bus to the Petra archaeological site. You will receive a guided tour led by an English-speaking guide, visiting significant sites including Al-Khazneh or 'The Treasury', recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The tour includes a visit to the tombs of Petra, highlighting its historical value in the Middle East and its representation in popular media. After completing the site tour, we will have lunch in Petra. Following lunch, we will return to Amman for the flight back to Cairo, with a bus transfer to your hotel.
Extra Day in Aman
You can enhance your experience by adding another day in Aman. After lunch in Petra, we will take you to a central hotel in Amman for an overnight stay. The following day includes breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided tour of the center of Aman to see major attractions such as the Roman theatre, the Citadel, and mosques. After this tour, we will head to the airport for your flight to Cairo and return to your hotel.
Important Information
Ensure you have a valid passport for travel to Jordan. At the Jordanian airport, you will need to pay arrival and departure fees totaling approximately 60 US dollars.
