Trip Details

After pickup from your hotel, we will depart Cairo heading north to Ismailía, a city established in the late 19th century as an operation center for the Suez Canal construction.

Following a brief tour of Ismailia, we will proceed to the banks of the Suez Canal. During our walk along the waterway, we will learn about the significant history of this project, which enables ships to transit between the Mediterranean and the Red Sea without circumnavigating Africa.

After exploring anecdotes and facts regarding the history of the Suez Canal, we will have a typical Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant.

Once we have regained our energy, we will commence our return journey to Cairo.
