After hotel pickup, we depart Cairo heading north, with our first stop in Ismailía. This city, established in the latter half of the 19th century, served as a key operational hub during the Suez Canal's construction.

Following a brief tour of Ismailia, we will proceed to the banks of the Suez Canal. As we stroll along the waterway, we’ll delve into the rich and complex history of this critical infrastructure, which allows vessels to transit from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea without the lengthy detour around Africa.
