Itinerary

After picking you up from your hotel at the designated time, we will proceed to the Midan Al Qalaa, located in the historic centre of Cairo.

The first stop will be the Al-Rifai Mosque, known as the Royal Mosque, a modern mosque from the 19th century.

Nearby, you will find the Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan, built in 1361, which is among the grandest structures from the Mamluk period, a time of Ottoman influence in Egypt.

Next, we will visit the Ibn Tulun Mosque, recognized as the largest and oldest mosque in the city, constructed between 876 and 879 in the old city of Al-Qatta´i, under Ahmad Ibn Tulun.

Following the mosque visits, lunch will be served at a typical restaurant, offering a menu that includes various salads, a main dish (beef, fish, or chicken), rice, pasta, vegetables, and a selection of desserts and fruit.

The tour continues with a visit to the Gayer-Anderson Museum and a walk along the famous city walls, noted for their numerous monuments from historical eras.

At the end of the tour, we will return to your hotel, approximately 5 hours after the initial pickup.
