Day Trip Overview

Upon your arrival, we will meet you at your Cairo hotel and set off towards Giza for an extensive exploration of the Great Sphinx and the three iconic pyramids, mirroring the highlights of our half-day experience.

Break for lunch at a local spot where you will savor a traditional meal, featuring tender grilled chicken kebabs accompanied by fresh vegetables, hummus, tahini, and Arabic bread. For dessert, indulge in sweet pastries paired with a refreshing fruit salad.

Refreshed and energized, we will continue our adventure to the Saqqara necropolis, a vital connection to ancient Egyptian history, highlighted by the remarkable pyramid of Pharaoh Zoser, recognized as the first of its kind in Egypt.

While in Saqqara, a visit to one of the notable tombs in the necropolis will offer further insight into the burial practices of the time. Our journey culminates at Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, an open-air museum showcasing significant monuments, including the magnificent sculpture of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

The excursion concludes back at your hotel after approximately 8 hours.

Entering the Pyramids

If you’re adventurous and comfortable with tight spaces, there is an option to venture inside the pyramids. You may choose to explore either the Khafre or Menkaure pyramids for a fee of 300 EGP, or tackle the Great Pyramid of Cheops for 1500 EGP, which comes highly recommended. Due to limited time, visiting all three pyramids in one day is not feasible. Tickets can be acquired on-site, with payment required in cash using local currency.
