Boipeba Island Whale-Watching

Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Pousada Pérola do Atlântico, where an expert oceanographer will give us an informative talk about the humpback whales that inhabit the waters off the coast of Bahía.

After the talk, we'll proceed to Boca da Barra or Quteiro Beach, dependent on weather conditions. There, we'll embark on a boat ride around the north-west coast of the island, lasting approximately 2 hours, to experience humpback whale-watching.

As we navigate this area of the Atlantic Ocean, we'll observe these native whales, which can reach up to 15 meters (49 feet) in length and weigh 40 tonnes. The onboard expert oceanographer will share interesting facts about the whales.

Afterward, we'll leave the whale observation area, and those interested can enjoy a dip in the Atlantic, concluding our day perfectly.

Finally, the tour will conclude back at the meeting point on land, covering a total duration of 5 hours.
