Description

We'll meet at the scheduled time at the Pousada Pérola do Atlântico, where an expert oceanographer will give us an informative talk about the humpback whales that inhabit the waters off the coast of the Brazilian state of Bahía.

After the talk, we'll proceed to Boca da Barra or Quteiro Beach, depending on the weather conditions. We will take a boat ride around the north-west coast of the island, lasting approximately 2 hours, for an unforgettable humpback whale-watching experience.

As we sail this area of the Atlantic Ocean, we will come in close contact with these native whales, which can reach up to 15 metres (49 feet) in length and 40 tonnes in weight. The expert oceanographer onboard will provide interesting facts about these humpback whales.

After this experience, we will leave the whale-watching area, and those who wish can take a refreshing dip in the Atlantic. The tour concludes back at the meeting point on land after a total duration of 5 hours.
