Chug-Chug Geoglyphs Private Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Calama and travel in a 4x4 to the Chug-Chug geoglyphs. During the 1-hour drive, we will discuss the history of these drawings.
Upon arrival, we will examine the anthropomorphic drawings etched into the mountains, visible from old caravan routes across the desert.
Chug-Chug features the largest concentration of geoglyphs globally, ranking only behind the Pintados in the Tarapaca region and the Nazca Lines in Peru. There are over 500 geoglyphs in this area.
After exploring this notable region of Atacama, we will return to Calama and drop you off at your hotel 5 hours later.
