Colombia and coffee culture are historically linked. On our Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour, we'll discover the laborious process of cultivating one of the country's key products.

Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet outside the Church of San José in Calarcá and hop on our bikes. We'll set off on a pleasant 11-mile (18-kilometre) cycling route through the Colombian coffee region.

We'll pedal through natural landscapes and cross mountain trails until we reach a coffee plantation, where we will immerse ourselves in the rural life surrounding Calarcá.

During our tour, we'll cycle among coffee plants and explain details behind coffee production in Colombia. You will learn why Colombian coffee is famous, how the plant is cultivated, and how long it takes for a plant to bear its first fruits.

Afterwards, we'll stop at a restaurant for lunch, featuring different cold meats, beans, or the typical Colombian sancocho chicken dish, along with a cup of coffee.

Our tour will finish at 1 pm upon our arrival back at the starting point.
