Colombia and coffee culture are historically linked. On our Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour, we'll discover the laborious process of cultivating one of the country's key products.

Calarcá Coffee Bike Tour

At 9 am, we'll meet outside the Church of San José in Calarcá and hop on our bikes. We'll set off on an 11-mile (18-kilometre) cycling route through the Colombian coffee region.

We'll pedal through natural landscapes and cross mountain trails until we reach a coffee plantation, providing an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rural life surrounding Calarcá.

During our tour, we'll cycle among coffee plants and discuss fascinating details about coffee production in Colombia. This includes insights into the fame of Colombian coffee, the cultivation process, and the time it takes for a coffee plant to bear its first fruits.

Afterwards, we'll stop at a restaurant for lunch, which will include various cold meats, beans, or the typical Colombian sancocho chicken dish, along with a cup of coffee.

Our tour will conclude at 1 pm upon our return to the starting point.
