Córdoba, Buenavista & Pijao Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet at Parque Principal de Calarcá. We'll travel south in an all-terrain vehicle to the Colombian coffee-growing axis, a prominent cultural and geographical area.

From the vehicle, views of the surrounding plantations will be observed, including fields of banana, avocado, citrus trees, and coffee.

After a 40-minute drive, our first stop will be in Buenavista, notable for its stunning views from the Cauca Valley. We will visit the town's viewpoint, enjoy a coffee, and explore the historic centre, including the Plaza de Bolívar and the church.

Next, we will visit Córdoba, a village surrounded by the lush landscape of the coffee region. We will discuss its evolution since the early 20th century while enjoying another coffee.

We will then proceed to Pijao, known as the unhurried village, where its nickname will be explained during our walk.

Lunch will consist of traditional Colombian sancocho (broth), sausages, beans, and a drink, served either in Pijao or Córdoba.

After lunch, we will return to the vehicle and head back to the departure point, concluding the excursion.
