Córdoba, Buenavista & Pijao Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet at Parque Principal de Calarcá. We'll climb into an all-terrain vehicle and head southbound for the Colombian coffee-growing axis, known for its cultural and geographic significance.

From the jeep, we will see multiple plantations, including fields of banana, avocado, and citrus trees, alongside abundant coffee!

After a 40-minute drive, we'll stop in Buenavista, a traditional village known for its views in the Cauca Valley. We'll visit the viewpoint, have a coffee, and explore the historic centre, including the Plaza de Bolívar and the church.

Next, we will visit Córdoba to discuss the town's evolution since its founding in the early 20th century while enjoying another coffee.

Then we'll head to Pijao, labeled as the unhurried village, where we will learn about the uniqueness of its nickname during our stroll.

We will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring traditional Colombian sancocho, sausages, beans, and a drink, either in Pijao or Córdoba, depending on the day.

After lunch, we will return to the vehicle and conclude the excursion at the starting point.
