Córdoba, Buenavista & Pijao Day Trip

At 9 am, we'll meet at Parque Principal de Calarcá. We'll travel in an all-terrain vehicle to the Colombian coffee-growing axis, a notable cultural and geographic region.

During the jeep ride, we will observe various plantations, including fields of banana, avocado, citrus trees, and coffee.

After a 40-minute drive, our first stop will be Buenavista, a traditional village known for its scenic views from the famous viewpoint. We will enjoy a coffee and explore the historic centre, including the Plaza de Bolívar and the church.

Next, we will visit Córdoba, where we will discuss the town's evolution since its founding in the early 20th century and have another coffee.

We will then proceed to Pijao, celebrated as the unhurried village, with explanations regarding its nickname during our walk.

For lunch, we will have a traditional Colombian sancocho (broth), sausages, beans, and a drink in either Pijao or Córdoba, depending on the day.

After lunch, we will return to the vehicle and head back to the starting point, concluding the excursion.
