Montserrat Day Trip

We will pick you up at your selected meeting point in Calella and board the bus to the Montserrat Massif, home to the historic monastery built in 1025. Prepare for stunning views!

We will ride a rack railway train to the top of the mountain, where monks will welcome us. During this time, we will share interesting facts about the area. Montserrat is known as the 'magic mountain,' and you will learn why by watching an audiovisual documentary.

You will have free time to explore the area until 3 pm. The massif is associated with various events, including reported UFO sightings and legends of the Holy Grail.

If legends do not appeal to you, check out the incredible panoramic views or visit the nearby basilica to see the Virgin 'La Moreneta,' discovered in a cave!

Before returning to the bus, enjoy lunch at any of the local restaurants for a taste of local cuisine. Our day trip concludes as we return to the meeting points in Calella, approximately 9 hours later.
