Montserrat Day Trip

We'll pick you up at your selected meeting point in Calella and board the bus to the Montserrat Massif, home to the historic monastery built in 1025. Prepare for breathtaking views!

We'll ride a rack railway train to the top of the mountain, where the monks of the monastery will welcome us. We will share some facts about the area and watch an audiovisual documentary. Montserrat is known as the 'magic mountain'.

From here, you'll enjoy free time to explore the area at your own pace until 3 pm. The massif has seen events like UFO sightings and legends related to the Holy Grail.

You can check out the incredible panoramic views from Montserrat or visit the basilica nearby to see the Virgin 'La Moreneta,' discovered in a cave. Before returning to the bus, enjoy lunch at local restaurants for a taste of local cuisine. We will end our trip as we return to the meeting points in Calella, approximately 9 hours later.
