Description
Our Calgary bike tour will commence at the designated time from 151 on 8th Avenue SW.
Following a short introduction to the city of Calgary, which proudly holds the title of Alberta's largest city, we will set off through the downtown area. The first destination will be the Bow River banks, where you can admire Prince's Island Park, a beloved public space situated on an island.
Next, we will proceed to Scotsman's Hill, renowned for its stunning views and considered the premier spot to admire the remarkable Calgary skyline. After soaking in the scenery, our journey will take us to Inglewood, a charming district celebrated for its antique stores.
From there, we will head back to the Bow River shores to explore the Fort Calgary area. Here, we will delve into the history of this significant stronghold, which once served as an outpost for the North West Mounted Police and is now a key landmark in the city.
To wrap up our 3-hour cycling experience, covering approximately 17 kilometers (10.5 miles), we will make our way back to the original meeting point.
