At the indicated time, we'll start this free tour of Calgary from the foot of the Edison. After a brief introduction, we will begin our tour with a stroll along Stephen Avenue, learning about popular restaurants and shops along the boulevard.
Next, we'll head into Downtown Calgary, passing iconic landmarks such as Olympic Plaza and the notable Central Library, a key cultural site. We'll explore the history of King Eddy, recognized for its live music, and then proceed to the East Village district. There, on the banks of the Bow River, we will visit Fort Calgary and discuss its historical significance.
