Andoke Butterfly Reserve & Cristo Rey Day Trip

Let yourself be enchanted by the fluttering shapes and colours of Colombia's most exotic butterflies. We'll visit the Andoke Butterfly Reserve and the Cristo Rey statue, which is an iconic symbol of Cali.

Andoke Butterfly Reserve & Cristo Rey Day Trip

At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cali and head to the Cauca Valley, known for its diverse flora and fauna. Upon arrival, we'll visit the Andoke Butterfly Reserve, home to over 15 native butterfly species.

During the tour, you'll learn about the characteristics of each species and their ecological roles. As you walk along the reserve's paths, you'll also observe native birds, dragonflies, and plants essential for butterflies.

The reserve features a map of Colombia illustrating geographical regions, rivers, cities, and local flora and fauna.

After the reserve visit, we'll return to the minibus and proceed to Los Cristales Hill to see Cristo Rey, a statue that stands 85 feet high and weighs 464 tonnes.

After taking photos, we will return to your hotel in Cali for a drop-off at 12 noon.
