Discover the history and traditional rhythms of Cali with this tour of the Colombian city and get to know its culture through its museums and melodies!

Tour Details

We'll meet you at your hotel at the indicated time for a walking tour through the Candelaria neighborhood. We will first visit the Calima Gold Museum of the Bank of the Republic, where we'll observe a large collection of gilded crafts from the pre-Hispanic period. This will enhance our understanding of daily life in Latin America before the 15th century.

Next, we will review the city’s history by walking around Plaza Bolivar and the Cali Theater, noted for its impressive exterior façade, which has been recognized by the BBC as “one of the most amazing in the world.”

As a conclusion to our tour, we will enjoy a musical demonstration at the Escuela Taller Foundation. This center reintegrates vulnerable populations through music, showcasing traditional Cali rhythms and instruments. The experience will conclude downtown Cali, after a total of 4 hours.

If you're joining us on a Thursday or Friday, after the tour, participants may go to a bar in downtown Cali for a live music show. Entrance to the bar is free, but drinks will need to be purchased individually.
