On this Comuna 20 tour, you will discover Cali's most authentic and modest side by learning about the evolution of the city's western neighborhoods, addressing past issues and future challenges.
Tour Details
We will meet at the designated time in the Cañaveralejo neighbourhood and head to a MIO Cable station, which will take us to Comuna 20. The tour begins with a walk through neighbourhoods of humble beginnings, exploring their evolution over the years, street art, and scenic viewpoints.
We will discuss the stigmatisation faced by the neighborhoods in Comuna 20 due to waves of violence in the past, visiting a cultural center to understand this history. The tour concludes with a return on the MIO Cable, lasting approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.
