Day Trip Details
We'll meet at the Hotel Intercontinental at the designated time and head south, leaving the city. During the journey, there will be a stop at a traditional bakery for a light breakfast.
Our journey will take us to the Puente de Amarillo de La Vorágine, where we'll provide a kit with fruit, snacks, and a hydrating drink for the hike. We will walk toward El Topacio Environmental Center, crossing the Farallones de Cali National Nature Park, following a hiking route of 5.59 mi (9 km).
As we advance, you will see rock formations, tropical forests, and moors. We will stop for pictures, observe the fauna, and learn about the flora. You'll hear the sounds of the Pance and Anchicayá rivers and the Farallones waterfalls.
Upon reaching El Topacio, there will be a rest and an educational lecture on the park's history and conservation efforts. You'll learn about the sacred status of the Farallones to ancestral Indigenous villages.
If the weather allows, we will swim in the Quebrada La Nevera after the visit. Finally, we will begin our return to Cali, where we will conclude our trip at the meeting point after 4 to 6 hours.
