Callao Art Tour

On this art tour of Callao, we'll stroll through the historical center of the city, visiting its art galleries and admiring the street art murals.

Callao Art Tour

At 3 pm, we'll meet at Casa Fugaz to start this art tour through the monumental zone of Callao, an area by the port of Callao rich in Peruvian art and culture.

The tour begins with a walk through the Plaza Matriz, where we will stop to view some of the over 60 murals that showcase Callao's street art.

We will then walk along Constitución Street, passing the Matriz Church while observing more street art from artists like Entes and Chalacos.

Next, we will explore the Galvez Passage and Square to see its art galleries and the studios of local artists. The tour continues through the La Salsa passage to view urban art exhibits by artists such as Nyeth, Decertor, and Ilustronauta. We will return to Casa Fugaz to visit its second-floor art galleries.

After a short break, we will visit some workshops of local artists. Finally, we'll ascend to the Callao Rooftop for a panoramic view of the city's main attractions, including the Real Felipe Convent, Grau Square, and the port. The tour will conclude here at around 4:30 pm.
