Our adventure begins at 9 am at the Plaza de la Independencia, where we will set off on a gastronomic exploration of Callao, a pivotal port city in South America during the colonial period.



Our first stop will be at Rovira restaurant, where we will savor a delightful snack featuring bread and the traditional pejerrey, a local fish renowned in the region. This fish serves as a cornerstone in many dishes throughout the South Pacific.



Following our tasting, we will embark on a boat ride to discover the stunning Callao port. As we cruise, we'll take in magnificent views and catch a glimpse of the historic Real Felipe fortress before arriving at the charming Chucuito neighborhood.



Once ashore, we will visit the Mirador de la Rivera restaurant, where the owners will introduce us to the ingredients they use to create their acclaimed dishes, including ceviche chalaco. They will guide us through the preparation process, sharing culinary secrets that you can replicate at home.



After this informative demonstration, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch featuring fresh seafood.



To wrap up our day, we will participate in a lively salsa dance class accompanied by live music. By 2 pm, we will return to our original meeting point, bringing our vibrant experience to a close.
