Fazenda Esperança Excursion

Get in touch with the more rural side of Brazil on this excursion to Fazenda da Esperança. We'll visit a farm founded in 1842 and check out the regional flora and fauna.

Fazenda Esperança Excursion

At 10 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Monte Verde. From there, we'll hop in a 4x4 vehicle and head north to Fazenda da Esperança, a farm about an hour away.

Located in Jaguary de Cima, Fazenda da Esperança allows exploration of the florals and fauna of Minas Gerais. The farm offers insights into traditional countryside activities.

Upon arrival, we'll embark on a guided tour of the farm's facilities, where we'll learn about the history of the fazenda from 1842 and the family that has managed it for five generations.

As we tour, we may observe various birds and potentially see anteaters, deer, and maned wolves. Information on the animals encountered will be shared.

During the visit, we'll also learn about the making of dulce de leche on the farm, and will have the opportunity to taste it. For those interested in regional gastronomy, the Fazenda Esperança restaurant is available for lunch on your own.

After two hours at the farm, we conclude the tour at 2 pm and drop you off at your hotel in Monte Verde.
