The Venancios, Passo do S, and Passo da Ilha waterfalls are featured in this tour of the Camabará do Sul region of Brazil.
Highlights
You'll be picked up from your hotel in Cambará do Sul and travel in a 4x4 to explore the region's key waterfalls. The first stop is the Venancios waterfall, approximately 23 km (14.2 miles) away, where a short 400-metre (1312 feet) walk will provide views of the waterfall and the Camisas River, which originates in the Aparados de Serra National Park. You will observe the natural woodlands characterized by monkey puzzle trees and the fields of Cima de Serra.
Next, you will visit the Passo do S waterfall, named for the shape of the ledge where the Tainhas River flows. Historical insights will be shared regarding the arrieros who used this point for crossing.
The tour continues to the Passo da Ilha waterfall, located on a river island of the Tainhas River accessible by car. If conditions allow, you will have 30 minutes of free time for a swim.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Cambará do Sul after 4-5 hours.
