The Venancios, Passo do S, and Passo da Ilha waterfalls are featured on this tour of the Cambará do Sul region of Brazil.
Highlights
Participants will be collected from their hotel in Cambará do Sul and transported in a 4x4 vehicle to the main waterfalls. The first stop is the Venancios waterfall, approximately 23 kilometers (14.2 miles) from the hotel. A short 400-meter (1312 feet) walk allows for views of the waterfall and the Camisas River, which originates in the Aparados de Serra National Park. The area features natural woodlands, including monkey puzzle trees, and the fields of Cima de Serra.
Following this, the tour proceeds to the Passo do S waterfall, notable for its unique ledge shape. Historical significance is provided, as the site was used by arrieros for crossing the river.
The next destination is the Passo da Ilha waterfall, located on a river island of the Tainhas River accessible by car. Weather permitting, there will be 30 minutes of free time for swimming.
The tour concludes back at the hotel in Cambará do Sul after a duration of 4-5 hours.
