Join us on a captivating hiking expedition through the Malacara Canyon departing from Cambará do Sul, where you will discover one of the most impressive canyons of southern Brazil. The stunning vistas promise to leave a lasting impression!

Highlights of the hiking excursion

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Cambará do Sul, followed by a journey south in a 4x4 vehicle.

After a brief drive of 40 minutes, we will reach Serra Geral National Park, where we will embark on the exceptional hiking path along the Malacara Canyon. This trail spans 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) and leads us through some of the most breathtaking canyons found in southern Brazil.

The hiking trail presents a medium difficulty level, allowing us to encounter a variety of local plant species such as bromeliads, fig trees, and cinnamon trees. We may also spot unique local fauna, including toucans and thrushes. As we stroll at a leisurely pace, we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes.

At the end of our journey, we will arrive at the natural pools located within Malacara Canyon. Here, you can unwind for one hour, taking a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters.

After rejuvenating ourselves, we will retrace our steps along the hiking path back to the park entrance. Once we arrive, our transport will be waiting to take you back to Cambará do Sul, concluding an exhilarating adventure lasting between 4 to 5 hours.
