Mushroom Picking Tour
We'll meet at the Parador Hotel for a brief orientation on safe riding practices before starting our quad tour adventure in Cambara do Sul.
From March to June, during Brazil's fall season, the outskirts of Cambara do Sul transform into a mycologist's paradise. We will ride through dense forests while learning to identify wild porcini mushrooms, commonly found in these woods.
Upon reaching a designated wooded area rich with pine trees, we will dismount and walk among the trees searching for mushrooms. An expert in mycology will assist in identifying edible mushrooms, ensuring a safe experience for beginners.
After a full harvest, we will pack our mushroom baskets on the quad bikes and return to the starting point. During the ride, we will share insights about the rich araucaria forests.
Our quad bike tour will conclude after 1.5 hours of exploration at the meeting point.
