Mushroom Picking Tour

We'll meet at the Parador Hotel for a brief orientation on safe riding practices before starting our mushroom-picking quad tour in Cambara do Sul.

Between March and June, during Brazil's fall season, the fields around Cambara do Sul become ideal for mushroom picking. Throughout the quad tour, we'll navigate dense forests and learn to identify wild porcini mushrooms, a commonly found edible variety.

Once we reach our wooded area filled with pine trees, we'll disembark and search for mushrooms among the trees, guided by a mycology expert who will assist with identifying edible species, ensuring a safe experience for beginners.

After gathering our mushrooms, we'll load our baskets back onto the quad bikes and return to the starting point, during which we'll discover interesting facts about the araucaria forests.

After 1.5 hours of mushroom hunting, we conclude our quad bike tour at the meeting point.
