Your experience kicks off at the Parador Hotel, where an initial briefing on safe riding techniques will prepare you for the upcoming adventure. Then, we will embark on our quad tour for mushroom picking in Cambara do Sul!

From March to June, during Brazil's autumn season, the wild landscapes surrounding Cambara do Sul transform into a true paradise for mycologists. On this quad tour, we will navigate through lush forests while learning to recognize wild porcini mushrooms, one of the most sought-after edible varieties flourishing in these areas.

Upon reaching a carefully selected forest area abundant with pine trees, we will dismount our quad bikes to explore the ground beneath the canopy, searching for the elusive treasures that often lie at the base of the trees. Accompanied by a mycology expert, you will receive valuable insights into distinguishing edible mushrooms, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for beginners.

After gathering a generous harvest, we will load our mushroom baskets onto the quad bikes and make our way back to the starting point. Along the journey, we will also share fascinating details about the unique araucaria forests.

In total, you can expect about 1.5 hours of engaging foraging, culminating our quad bike tour at the original meeting spot.
