Upon reaching São José dos Ausentes, we will make our way to the Pico do Monte Negro, where we will begin a brief 4-kilometer (2.5 miles) hiking trail that leads us to the pinnacle of the state.

At an elevation of 1043 meters (3421 feet), join us for captivating views over the Monte Negro Canyon. On a clear day, glimpses of both the Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina coast can be seen.
