Step into the historic heart of Cambridge and discover its cultural heritage. On this guided tour, you'll get to know the city that inspired renowned figures.

Cambridge University Guided Tour

We'll meet at the entrance to King's College at the selected time and spend 1.5 hours exploring the city.

During the tour, we will explore over a thousand years of history. First, we will visit Great Saint Mary's Church, dedicated to Saint Mayor the Great. You will have the opportunity to see the room where Newton formulated his theory of gravity and learn about the apple tree myth. Additionally, we will visit the pub where Watson and Crick announced a significant 20th-century discovery and a contemporary clock that does not tell time correctly. You will observe Gothic and Neoclassical architecture throughout the tour.

The student atmosphere is a key feature of Cambridge, and the guide will be a graduate or current student of the University of Cambridge with knowledge of the city's history and architecture. You will gain insights into student life, including “college parents” and May Balls, along with interesting facts about each college, including which is the most luxurious. We will see various buildings of prestigious Cambridge University, such as Corpus Christi College, Trinity College, Pembroke College, and Clare College.

You will also see Cambridge University Library and the Christopher Wren Library. Notable highlights of the tour include Queens’ College, King’s College backs, Clare College, The Senate House, Gonville and Caius College, St Catherine’s College, Great St Mary’s Church, The Eagle Pub, The Corpus Clock, and The Round Church.
