Cambridge University Guided Tour

We'll meet at the entrance to King's College at the selected time and spend 1.5 hours exploring Cambridge.

During the tour, we'll delve into a thousand years of human history. Our first stop will be the Great Saint Mary's Church, dedicated to Saint Mayor the Great. You'll see the room where Newton formulated his theory of gravity and learn about the apple tree myth. We'll also visit the pub where Watson and Crick revealed one of the 20th century's greatest discoveries and a contemporary clock that does not tell time correctly. Throughout the tour, you'll appreciate the Gothic and Neoclassical architecture.

The tour guide will be a University of Cambridge graduate or current student with comprehensive knowledge of the city's history and architecture. Insights about student life, including “college parents” and May Balls, will also be shared. Notable colleges visited include Corpus Christi College, Trinity College, Pembroke College, and Clare College.

Additionally, you'll see Cambridge University Library and the Christopher Wren Library. Key highlights of the tour include Queens’ College, King’s College backs, Clare College, The Senate House, Gonville and Caius College, St Catherine’s College, Great St Mary’s Church, The Eagle Pub, The Corpus Clock, and The Round Church.
