MIT Walking Tour

We'll meet at Main Street at your selected time to begin the tour of the MIT campus. Our first stop will be the Stata Centre, which includes the Gates and Dreyfoos Buildings.

Next, we'll visit the Green Building, the tallest structure on campus and in all of Cambridge, housing MIT's Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences departments. Notable innovators who studied at MIT include Tim Berners-Lee, William Hewlett, and Alfred P. Sloan.

The visit will also cover The Great Dome, a key site on campus where we will discuss MIT's traditions. We will then proceed along Massachusetts Avenue to Harvard Bridge, the longest bridge crossing the Charles River.

Additionally, we'll see Lobby 7, leading to the Infinite Corridor, which is 800 ft (251 metres) long and serves as a main entrance to the campus. This tour lasts 1 hour and 10 minutes.
