Enjoy the most iconic experience in Cambridge, punting along the River Cam. You'll see emblematic university buildings, famous bridges and so much more!
Tour Description
The most emblematic tourist attraction in Cambridge is the experience of punting along the river. This activity is similar to a gondola ride in Venice, where the individual rowing stands at the back of the boat. To fully enjoy this experience, a guided tour is recommended, where an expert punter handles the rowing.
This panoramic tour lasts around 45 minutes. While sailing down the River Cam, you'll observe King's College Chapel, dating back to the 15th century, and the Wren Library at Trinity College. The scenic Clare College gardens are also part of the experience.
During the tour, you will pass under notable bridges such as the Mathematical Bridge, historically attributed to Isaac Newton, and the Bridge of Sighs, which connects two parts of Saint John's College. After 45 minutes on the river, the punter will return you to the original jetty.
