Enjoy the most iconic experience in Cambridge, punting along the River Cam. You'll see emblematic university buildings, famous bridges and much more!

Tour Description

The most emblematic tourist attraction in Cambridge is an experience punting along the river, similar to a gondola ride in Venice, where the person rowing stands at the back of the boat. It is recommended to enjoy this on a tour with an expert punter. This panoramic tour lasts around 45 minutes. As you sail down the River Cam, you'll see King's College Chapel from the 15th century, Wren Library, and the Clare College gardens.

During the journey, you will pass under several bridges including the Mathematical Bridge, historically thought to be built by Isaac Newton, and the Bridge of Sighs, which connects two parts of Saint John's College. After 45 minutes, the punter will return you to the original jetty.
