At the port of Cambrils, you can take a ferry to Salou, one of the most touristic places in Tarragona. After getting on board, you'll spend 30 minutes crossing the Mediterranean.
From your seats, you'll admire the bay and relax with the soft sea breeze. This sailing along the Costa Dorada is the best option to avoid traffic jams.
What to do in Salou?
Upon arrival in Salou, you have two options: spend the day in the town or return to Cambrils on the ferry.
If you explore the town, you can visit the historic centre and see notable buildings like the Chalet Bonet, Torre Vella, and Santa Maria del Mar Church.
For a day of sun and sea, stroll along the Camino de Ronda to idyllic beaches such as Ponent or Capellans. Enjoy the day with a hammock and a swim.
Alternatively, you can enjoy the boat ride and return directly to Cambrils without disembarking.

You can return to Cambrils on ferries that leave daily between Cambrils and Salou at the following times:
Ferry out of Salou Port: 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm.
The ferry leaving at 6 pm operates only in July and August.
