Whale Watching in Campbell River

Make the most of your time in Campbell River enjoying a boat cruise in search of the whales and other marine wildlife that inhabit this area of Vancouver Island, one of the best regions in Canada to experience nature in its purest form.

We'll set sail from the harbour on a 6-hour boat trip across the waters of Campbell River. Throughout the cruise, we'll watch out for the incredible animals native to the area, including humpback whales, salmon, dolphins, killer whales and even bears.

When making your reservation, you'll have the choice to do the whale-watching tour on 2 different types of boats:

Speedboat tour

Travel aboard a zodiac or speedboat, making your whale-watching tour a real adventure. The boat provides incredible views of the whales and wildlife, getting up close to the animals.

Covered boat tour

Ideal for families and groups with children, this boat allows you to enjoy the whale-watching tour from comfortable seats in a covered space. The roof does not obstruct the sight of the humpback whales, orcas, sea lions and dolphins.
