We will meet up at your chosen time in the centrally located Parque Principal town square of Campeche. On one side stands the city's beautiful Cathedral. We will go inside and learn all about this iconic religious shrine.

The walking tour continues as we admire the exterior architecture of the Cultural Center 6, a perfect example of the colonial houses which characterize Yucatan. We will visit the historic forts of Campeche, a series of defensive bastions that have been preserved in their original condition despite the passage of centuries. The tour includes three of these sites: the bastion of Soledad, the Puerta de Mar city gate, and the bastion of San Carlos.

Next, we will stop at one of the most sacred shrines in the region: the church of San Román. Inside, you will learn about its significance and the venerated carving of the Black Christ of Campeche.

After the church, we will proceed to calle 59, which crosses through the city center. Here, we will see the Puerta de Tierra (the Earth's Gate) and the Casa de Artesanías Tukulná (Tukulná Handicrafts House). After exploring the city for three and a half hours, our tour will conclude in front of the magical, dancing fountains of the Moch Cohuo Park.
