On this bus tour of the churches of San Francisco de Campeche, we'll explore the sacred heritage of this coastal city of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Churches of Campeche Tour

After pickup at your chosen time at your hotel or the Ocean View Hotel, we will commence a bus tour to discover the religious heritage of the city.

During this tour, we will make a total of 9 stops. Our first stop will be the Jesuit church of San José, followed by a visit to the Cathedral of Campeche, dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, where we will admire a marble and brick atrium.

We will then continue to the churches of San Francisco, San Francisquito, and San Juan de Dios, where we will appreciate their colonial architecture and learn about the main works of sacred art present in these temples.

Next, we will visit the churches of Santa Ana and Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. After exploring the art in these churches, we will proceed to the church of Dulce Nombre de Jesús and discover the reason for its intense yellow façade.

Finally, we will head to the San Román neighborhood to visit the Sanctuary of Santo Cristo. We will return to the starting point, concluding the tour 4 hours after pickup.
