Churches of Campeche Tour

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel or the Ocean View Hotel, setting the stage for a memorable exploration of Campeche's religious landmarks.

Throughout this tour, we will make 9 notable stops. Our first visit will be to the Jesuit Church of San José, followed by the striking Cathedral of Campeche. Within this grand edifice, dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, we will be captivated by an exquisite atrium featuring marble and brick.

Our journey continues as we explore the churches of San Francisco, San Francisquito, and San Juan de Dios. Here, the stunning colonial architecture will be a feast for the eyes, alongside insights into the prominent works of sacred art housed within these sacred spaces.

Next, we’ll proceed to the churches of Santa Ana and Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. After immersing ourselves in the emotional artworks within, we will venture to the Church of Dulce Nombre de Jesús, where we will uncover the story behind its vibrant yellow facade.

Our final destination will be the San Román neighborhood, where we will explore the renowned Sanctuary of Santo Cristo. This comprehensive tour will conclude as we return to our starting point, about 4 hours after our initial pickup.
