You will meet at the visitor centre of the Edzna archaeological site at your chosen time. The guided tour will cover one of the most important Mayan cities in Mexico.

The tour will begin with information about this ancient city from the Classic period, highlighting its pioneering hydraulic technology. You will visit the stelae museum to see monolithic monuments and learn about the customs, traditions, and culture of the Mayan civilization.

Next, the tour will include visits to Edzna's significant monuments, such as Casa Grande, the main courtyard, and the ball court, which is flanked by two notable structures. You will also see a stepped pyramid with five stories.

After an hour and a half of sightseeing, the guided tour of Edzna will conclude at the starting point.

Tour With Lunch

With this option, after the guided tour, you will have a traditional lunch in the indigenous community of Uzahzil, where you can taste local delicacies.

Uzahzil is a 20-minute walk away, or you can drive if preferred. The tour with lunch lasts approximately two hours, and on arrival, community members will welcome you.
